A “JOB SHADOW”
consists of an informational interaction between an employer/place of employment and a student or client, facilitated and supervised by ADS/Career Pathways
(normally under the auspices of Michigan DLEG and the corresponding School District, but Job Shadowing can be appropriate for clients of all ages who wish to explore careers).

The student or client will observe the workplace, participate in work activities and have the chance to ask questions of managers and employees.
Career Pathways also conducts a
Skills & Career Assessment/ Evaluation and Recommendation
in conjunction with the student or client and his or her family, support staff, teachers, counselors, and other concerned parties at the conclusion of the Shadows.
Parents are encouraged to attend.
