Job Coaching for a placed client is assisted employment training, from full-time hands-on support during initial stages of employment, to assisting the client with learning and retention of job fundamentals, to working to develop natural SUPPORTS at the worksite.

At ADSCP we believe a Job Coach/Employment Consultant is a Trainer, Teacher, Problem Solver, Advocate, Friend, Mentor and Leader to the Client and should function as a support system and liaison between Client, Management, and Co-workers.

The goal of all job coaching is to bring about the Client’s mastery of the position’s primary duties, and to do so in a manner that does not disrupt the workplace or isolate the Client from his or her co-workers.
