Job Retention Skills are emphasized when the client has mastered the Primary duties of his/her position and now has progressed to the point where Client, Job Coach, and Employer all feel confident in the employee’s skill base.
During Job Retention, ADSCP reduces onsite coaching and works more intensively with the client on interpersonal work skills, goal-oriented vocational skills, and advancement.
At any point in time, if there is a decrease in the Client’s performance, ADSCP reverts to fundamental COACHING until the employee again excels in all duties. |
